To say that Trisha Lambi is a painter of exquisite style is an understatement. Her career reached new status last year when her work, entitled "Ephemeral Nude 2" was chosen among the finalist entries in the prestigious Cromwell Art Prize. Lambi was selected by an international committee of art critics and curators to represent Australia in the 4th Edition of the Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea held in Florence, Italy in December 2003. Since then she has gone on to enjoy successful exhibitions in Sydney, Brisbane and Germany. Approaching her subject with a new maturity in her latest series, Lambi presents to the viewer an expertise evident in the subtle choices of her palette and a refined approach to form and composition which fuses her love of figures and landscape into dynamically beautiful images.
